Volunteer with HAAM

Volunteers serve a vital role in the daily operations of HAAM.

The impact that our volunteers make in the lives of community members who seek assistance at HAAM is enormous. Most services at the social services building and our two resale stores are effectively performed by volunteers.

In fact, 4,836 volunteers contributed 34,082 service hours last year!

A variety of volunteer positions are available at HAAM. Some volunteer assignments require direct client involvement while others may be occasional or seasonal. We look for individuals who are committed to making a difference in their community.

Junior Volunteers

Engaging young minds from kindergarten to 12th grade, our Junior Volunteer program at HAAM welcomes students who contribute their time and energy throughout the year. Infusing the HAAM community with a vibrant and youthful enthusiasm, these young volunteers play a crucial role in our mission.

Here are key details about our Junior Volunteer Program, designed to address common questions and provide essential information for those eager to participate.

No. Junior volunteers do not need to attend orientation.

MY PRE-K THRU 5TH GRADE CHILD WANTS TO VOLUNTEER, DO YOU HAVE ANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM?

The HAAM Client Service building including our food pantry and Resale Stores are not set up to have young children volunteering on site. HOW DO I SCHEDULE A TIME FOR MY CHILD TO VOLUNTEER?

Just email the Volunteer Coordinator, Cathy Schrof, at cschrof@haamministries.org.

IS THERE ANY REQUIRED PAPERWORK FOR MY CHILD TO VOLUNTEER?
