COVENANT CONGREGATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

The Power of a Coalition

Started in 1990, HAAM has been serving the northeast Houston area for more than 30 years. HAAM is supported by a coalition of churches and organizations that provide over 32,000 volunteer hours annually. HAAM is the most comprehensive social services agency in the area.

What does it mean to be a “covenant” of HAAM? Covenant organizations pledge their support of HAAM operations and programming by making an annual contribution to HAAM. Member organizations have two covenant representatives who attend quarterly meetings and act as liaisons between their organization and HAAM. The covenant representatives will communicate the needs of HAAM to the organization and recruit volunteers, hold “drives” for specific items or seasonally, and raise awareness within their organization of the programs, events, and activities occurring at HAAM.

For information on participating as a covenant organization, please call 281-446-1314 or view our Covenant Agreement.
