- Power and Water – Many people have power restored; however, still do not have water. The area could still see rolling blackouts as power plants come back online. Per the Public Utility Commission, blackouts to be no more than 12 hours maximum. Please remember to boil water for at least 2 minutes; do not drink or swallow water that is not boiled if you receive city water. Use bottled water and follow instructions issued from city authorities when water is restored.

Texas Housing Assistance Phone Line
The Health and Human Services Commission is pleased to announce the launch of the Texas Housing Assistance Line at 1-855-802-0014.
This resource is available statewide 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help people facing housing instability or homelessness, with a focus on people dealing with mental health or substance use issues.
